How can symmetry, texture, and neon color be used to create a realistic and visually striking animal portrait?
Students will learn and apply the symmetry tracing technique while drawing animals with realistic fur direction and texture. They will use a neon value scale to show highlights, midtones, and shadows, practice blending neon watercolors, and enhance their work with paint pens to add line, texture, and design while balancing realism with creative expression.
